A universal gesture made personal.

In my role as a brand strategist for the Twitter Greater China export business, one of the biggest challenge was to inspire advertisers to go beyond performance-driven campaigns and increase focus on building brand love on Twitter.

To do so, we took inspiration from the familiar shake for rewards behaviour in Asia, especially in Greater China, and we built, prototyped, pitched and launched a scalable idea called #ShakeAGift.

Be it driving conversations, content downloads, or traffic to websites for purchase, this idea provides the perfect runway for brands new to branding campaigns to take flight on Twitter.
