Simplifying instructions into bite-sized loops.

Bes Bes is a Singapore brand that specialises in phone casings and straps to help the busy ones get on with their day without fuss and hassle.

For their new collection, Construct, Bes Bes was exploring a new visual style – 3D, to show how the product works.

After using the product for a week, I recommended the client simplify the instructions into five bite-sized steps. With every step designed to be a 6 seconds looping animation.

The product was modelled, rigged, and animated from scratch to allow for maximum playfulness in art direction. To keep it true to the brand, the original visual language was weaved into the loops through colours, supporting objects, animated lines and music.
